The hotel is in a great location, the restaurant terrace has a wonderful view. We loved the nature trails around the hotel and the close proximity to the redwood forests. The restaurant serves great meals and the bar and wait staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel rooms are generous and comfy bed

The facilities and views were great, loved the balcony area on our room looking at the trees. The bocce ball courts and firepits were nice and there was ample pool area.

Everything about amminitis chairs where sauna were old . Water in spa very dirty pool was nice getting dated 300$ nightly plus tax not worth it bathrooms were great except door that you could see into. Beds soft great Staff was awesome at restaurant and out front.

The property was lovely. The staff was horrible. I was over charged by over $50. And we had people partying until 4 am and we couldn’t sleep. We had to call and complain several times.

Chaminade was a total pleasant surprise. It was so easy and friendly for kids and dogs. We hiked and it was cool even on a hot day. The room was large and comfortable with a serene deck overlooking the woods. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely and delicious. My 15 year old son said the gym was great, and he’s always disappointed in hotel gyms.

This weekend is our anniversary, and I thought it would be a great idea to explore new places. This hotel undoubtedly hired an excellent photographer, as it gives you an incredible expectation of a luxurious weekend—nothing could be further from the truth. We were not informed that there were two events happening at the hotel, which meant that all the beautiful spaces were occupied for private events. We requested a king-size bed and were given two queens instead. The bathroom was small and lacked basic amenities such as conditioner. The rooms have been renovated, but you can feel the low cost in the details. Overall, a very disappointing experience considering the expectations and the price we paid for this hotel, which promises an experience that ultimately falls short. The staff, however, is very kind, and that was the highlight of our experience.

Good location with nice grounds and amenities. Pools were nice but overcrowded. Live music ended early but was fun while it lasted. Great views. Nice touches with decorations. Restaurant was good for breakfast

Front desk was outstanding. It was a mother / daughter ger away. I told them I proposed to my wife at your restaurant in 1987, long time ago! This will be a semi annual event for my wife / daughter!!

The only thing that I truly liked is that it was up the hill away from downtown Santa Cruz which can be hectic in Summer. Not much other than that.

Chaminade is a beautiful property which has a warm welcoming environment. It is nestled among the forest with easy access to the freeway and local Santa Cruz sights! We will definitely be back!

The room was clean and quiet. But it wasn't ready when we got there. We had to wait an hour, and we weren't there because we had an event to go to and we were late. But the staff did put our bags in our room that we left at the front desk.
